“Voss is a marvelous singer, Osborne is a master keyboard craftsman.” – San Francisco Examiner

“If passion and literacy were in fashion, these folks would be big stars. As it is, they are a treasure to those of us adults fortunate enough to have encountered them” – Bob Franke

on the east wall at Andrea Kristina's Bookstore and Kafe ( 218 W. Main), you will find the paintings/mixed media work of artist Venaya Yazzie in an exhibit titled, "neo-navajo". amazing!...and...see the photographs of Rhonda Sigler in the hallway. lovely!...and meet the poet Josie Foo who will be presenting a recently published book, "A Lily Lilies"...a collaborative effort between Josie and Leah Stein of Philidelphia. very cool!...also...the Wines of the San Juan will be in house with tasting and sales. mmmmm!.......

and ladies,...the Three Rivers Women's Collective at In Cahoots (109 N. Allen) will have "wish lists" available. This translates into: find the gift you want for Valentine's Day and make a note of it on the list provided. On Saturday, the 12th...your sweetie pies can attend the "Cupid's Coach" event at the gallery and have the help they need in finding that perfect gift. (willing to bet the folks at In Cahoots won't mind if guys attend the gallery walk and ladies come in on the 12th) sounds like fun!...and check out the work of many area artists in this spot.

artist Janet Burns will be featured at Art Bead and Soul (110 W. Main). In light of the approaching Valentines Day, Burns will be showing new work, including heart themed encaustic pieces on wood panels. exquisite!...and, see a variety of work by other local artists.

also in the shining light of Valentines Day, Artifact's Gallery (302 E. Main) is hosting a special exhibit themed "Red Again". In this invitational show you can view the work of several artists working in a variety of media...awesome!...and visit the artists' studios in this location, as well.

...maybe this event should be called "a pre-Valentine's Day Gallery Walk"... Chow down on munchies at all participating businesses...YAY!
